Joseph Aaron Joe

Joseph Aaron Joe is a graduate student at the History of Medicine Department of Johns Hopkins University. He is currently pursuing a M.A. in Critical Approaches in Science, Technology, and Medicine (CAST-M). He received his B.S. in Psychology from the Ateneo de Manila University in 2018 and has also taken up graduate coursework in anthropology at the University of the Philippines in 2021. 
 
Since 2018, he has served as a Research Assistant/Associate in various academic and health research institutions in the Philippines. These include the University of the Philippines Manila (Neglected Tropical Diseases Study Group), St. Luke’s Medical Center College of Medicine (Planetary and Global Health Program), and the Alliance for Improving Health Outcomes, Inc.
 
He applies his interdisciplinary background as an analytical and reflexive lens in public and global health research as well as social studies of medicine and technoscience.”
