Dr. Jessica Huang is a public health researcher and consultant at the World Bank, focusing on policy recommendations to protect at-risk communities from climate change and natural disasters. During the COVID-19 pandemic, they worked with a Mayor’s Office through a Harvard John F. Kennedy School of Government fellowship to support response and recovery policies, as well as with the Meedan Digital Health Lab to increase equitable access to health information and address misinformation.
Previously, they worked as a designer and instructor with D-Lab at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, facilitating projects on youth development, environmental health, and humanitarian innovation with international organizations including UNICEF and Oxfam. With an undergraduate background in environmental engineering and business administration, they completed their Master’s degree in Learning, Design, and Technology at the Stanford Graduate School of Education and their Doctor of Public Health (DrPH) degree at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.
