HPHR Fellows Ryan Sutherland and Javaid Iqbal recently met with Dr. Anthony Fauci, Chief Medical Advisor to the President and Director of National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID).
In this interview, Dr. Fauci offers advice to students interested in pursuing a career in public health, as well as discusses the national response to the COVID-19 pandemic and HIV, stating that the best approach to dispelling public health misinformation is “flooding the system with people who are deeply involved with the truth and who have one goal … to preserve and protect the health and the safety of the people of the world.”

HPHR wishes to thank Dr. Fauci for speaking with the Journal.
