Duha Shellah, Director of Recruitment

Dr. Duha Shellah is a junior medical doctor and journalist, science communication & journalism consultant and research activist. She is the founder and chief executive officer of The Researchist which supports and advocates early career researchers and scientists. Dr. Duha has been recognized as one of the world’s 21 outstanding young physicians below age 40 at the inter-academy partnership Young Physician Leaders Program 2022 and is the coordinator of the medical & health sciences division at Palestine Academy for Science and Technology. Dr. Duha is student editor-in-chief at the International Journal of Medical Students. She is also an Elsevier Student Ambassador. Dr. Duha is a leader, trainer, activist and advocate for reproductive and mental health and rights for youth in Palestine, especially those living in marginalized communities.
