Alexandra Yunker is an MPH candidate in Nutrition at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. Prior to attending Harvard University, she graduated with a BA in Anthropology from University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) and worked for 3 years as a Project Assistant at the University of Southern California (USC) Keck School of Medicine under the mentorship of Kathleen A. Page, MD. Her research interests center on integrating assessments of diet, physical activity, and other health behaviors to support the work of translating known mechanistic findings into novel lifestyle intervention strategies aimed at ameliorating both chronic disease and health disparities across the lifespan, particularly in the context of women’s and child/adolescent health.
