This intervention proposal was selected for publication with HPHR in 2021, and laid out a plan of action to train doulas to best serve adolescent single mothers in at-risk communities using mhealth technology. The proposal entailed recruiting doulas from communities being served, training doulas to operate a wearable device, and forming an online social support forum among adolescent single mothers for information-sharing purposes.
